About Us

Our Mission

The vision of the King Koko Foundation is to empower communities by preserving cultural heritage, advancing education, and providing equitable opportunities, all while fostering peace and mutual understanding. We envision a future where communities thrive by maintaining a strong connection to their cultural roots, where every individual has access to quality education, and where peace and mutual respect are the cornerstones of society.

Our mission is to bring this vision to life by promoting cultural heritage, facilitating access to quality education, encouraging gender equality, and addressing conflicts constructively through dialogue and learning. We believe in the power of culture to unite people, the transformative nature of education, the importance of gender equality in achieving a just society, and the necessity of peace for development. By working closely with communities, fostering partnerships, and implementing innovative initiatives, we aim to uplift lives and strengthen communities. We strive to empower marginalized individuals, particularly women and youth, to become agents of change in their communities.

Prof. Olali

Thank you, King Koko, for your generous donation of 100 exquisite modern learning chairs to the ancient St. Lukes Primary School in Nembe. The children had to sit on the floor to learn, making it extremely challenging for the young students. You have greatly improved the learning environment by providing comfort and dignity to our children.
